Seriously, for years I've recommended that people buy the XB360 controller citing it as the best PC gaming controller I've ever used. And for years it WAS... until Vista and Windows 7 came along and you totally screwed the pooch as far as support goes.

No dead zone support, no force feedback tweaking, just a bare minimum 'generic' windows calibration and 'button testing' control panel.

I'm going back to recommending people buy the Logitech Rumble FX gamepads, which was my controller of choice before the xbox360 pad came along.

but I love my xBox 360 pad, yeah ok doesn't exactly work the way I want it to either, but at least I can play stuff that better plays with a pad vs Keyboard.
