Well, kinda. It seems that there's a community patch now available, and while not officially endorsed by Gearbox, they're not killing all discussion of it in their official forums. So, who wants some footage and people talking about it?
And here's the video on the patch notes for the latest version: Pretty sweet, I may actually re-download BL2 and get a game going to try it out.

One of these days... I still hold the OG Borderlands in such high regard I'm kind of scared of the subsequent entries. The first Borderlands game had a leveling system and some basic classes and weapons, but they weren't overly complicated and I could muddle through most stuff in order to get into action with my toon and blast baddies. I just needed to know that orange weapons were awesome(r) than the others, upgrade system was fairly easy, etc.
From what I've seen of BL2 and BL:TPS that setup has gotten a lot more complicated and is turning into one of those super complicated RPG-ish setups. I can't remember all that shit - I just want to get in and shoot bad guys and bosses.... especially with long range weapons. One of my favorite things in Borderlands was to equip a long rage rifle and pick off bad guys from a mile away. That and finding loot, of course. |

It's very easy to tell what loot is better than others. Just follow the green arrows.

Heh ... Moxxi's weapons are silly. Just give me a big single-shot Jakobs shotgun and leave me alone for a bit

I'd agree, but elemental damage is just so satisfying sometimes, especially if the damage numbers keep going.
