PragmaBed electric adjustable bed frame / foundation (queen).

I've actually had the non-electric queen head only version for the last two years or so. I've wanted the electric one for a long time and this bout with the knee and back just sealed the deal for me.

Probably a bunch of other stuff I've bought over the last few months and forgot about.

Lights are due to one bulb burning out on my car. Dash buttons are for Home Assistant home automation.

I bought a Gogogate2 last week (https://www.gogogate.com/). So, so easy to connect, and it works perfectly. No need to program it either, it plugs into the garage door opener the same way the opener button on the wall does. Got it connected to IFTTT as well, so I have widgets on my phone to open/close the garage. Google Assistant doesn't play nicely with it, though ... I'll need to use a different phrase for it or something.

I also bought a 1500VA UPS for my computer, since the ol' APC I have fails multiple times per day. It's not a "your battery's dying" fail, it's a "OH SHIT I'M GOING TO TURN EVERYTHING OFF NOW" fail.

"a different phrase"

It's amusing how I can tell Alexa to "turn on/off the tv", and that happens, but if I say "turn on/off the television" there's confusion and nothing gets done.

LG 34" Curved Ultrawide thanks to it being available for a payment plan on Amazon... I just unpacked it tonight and it's pretty nice. It will take some getting used to but damn is it sexy looking on my desk!

Loaded up on a bunch of stuff from Crutchfield:
  • Rockford Fosgate R1T-S tweeters
  • MTX Terminator 653 speakers (2 sets)
  • American International HSB524 speaker mounting brackets (2 sets)
  • Metra 72-7800 speaker wiring harness (2 sets)
  • USA Spec BT45-HON3 Bluetooth adapter

...and installed it all in the Civic. Now I have Bluetooth, which Honda made standard in 2009 (I have the 2008 model). And, I have working speakers, which is more than I could say for the factory ones that were in there before.

Haven't really bought anything geeky since the new monitor... I have been spending a tiny bit each month on cheap as shit furniture. I'm doing my whole bedroom / Youtube / Gaming station room in cube shelves so I can show off my geek gear.

So first I bought a set of two 3x3 cube shelves that I have stacked on each other, and then the other day I have a 3-2-1 set that is going on one side. I'll try and post a picture soon.

Oh, I did just grab a Samsung Gear VR 2017 edition. It's the cheapest one compatible with the S8+ and I didn't want to pay almost twice as much for the 2018 edition. I'm hoping to at least be able to enjoy it past the novelty stage lol.
