"Some issues" ... understatement of the year right there

Poor dude's leg's all manner of fucked up. Bruises, swelling, the whole nine. Ended up in the hospital for a bit. He's home now but is still in quite a bit of pain and has to prop up his knee on pillows all the time.

He'll be back.

At the moment I'm upgrading my Raspberry Pi from Jessie to Stretch. It may break stuff, but oh well, it'll be a learning experience.

Speaking of the Pi, I am working on saving for a CR-10S, another Pi 3, a Pi Camera, power, etc so I can setup Octoprint for the CR-10S.

You don't need a Pi for OctoPrint ... I'm running it on a Haswell-based Gigabyte Brix on Ubuntu Xenial, using my old PlayStation Eye as the webcam Any ol' machine capable of running Debian can do it.

I don't have another machine to run it, so that is why I'm thinking the Pi route.

Speaking of Pi.

I saw a rig case yesterday that could hold a full ATX mobo and also an ITX mobo, all running from the same (1200w) power supply. All that thing would need would be a Pi and that's the trifecta right there.

Impulse-bought the new Amazon FireTV Cube. It's $80 for pre-order, will be coming out at the end of the month. It supports 4k and has a physical network connection, which is all I care about.
