It's entirely possible that I may need a change of underwear right now.

For two reasons:

1. OMG TEH SEXY!!!
2. The Newegg shipping box was beat to hell, and the motherboard box is actually slightly bent (!!). Took the motherboard out and examined it really quick and it seems undamaged. Still, Fedex must have given this box the Ace Ventura treatment....

Didn't buy anything for home ... but for work, I bought the following:

Two of the 24TB versions of this: http://www.buffalotech.com/products/...station-quad-2

Seven of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834232376

...and seven of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...9SIA2W02DV8166

Obviously I'm going to swap the SSDs into the Asus laptops and then image them with Windows 10. I'm thinking 500GB may have been too much because everyone getting the laptops will also be set up on Office 365 with 1TB of online storage, but whatever.

So ... last Friday I ordered a 500GB Samsung 850 Evo and a Kingston HyperX 16GB DDR3 kit (red heatspreaders ... cheapest by $0.40). It was supposed to be delivered yesterday, but Amazon screwed up the shipment, so it hasn't even gone out yet. That was for my dad, and he paid for it (because it's for his computer after all), so I didn't count that as a purchase.

Today I bought an LG 43LF5100 -- a 43" 1080p LED TV. It's going to replace my 8-year-old 40" Samsung TV, which shows artifacts on the left half of the display, takes 8 tries to power on successfully, and has a dead right channel. I'll keep the soundbar because it's better than whatever speakers are built in to the new TV. It's $284.99 on Newegg right now.

Sounds like at least partially bad caps on that Samsung.

If you're handy with a soldering iron it might be a fun project...

Once I take it off the mount I'll open it up and see if I can't get a 40" monitor out of it I can use that as my primary gaming display, and my 24" 1080p monitor for other things.

Let's see...

A 43" LG 43UF6430 UHD TV to replace my nearly 4 year old LG 42LK450 that I use as a PC monitor and TV at night.
A PragmaBed Adjustable Queen bed frame for my memory foam mattress, which made it possible to toss my old bed frame and busted ass box springs.
A Stanley 5 drawer rolling tool chest
A Samsung 64GB MicroSD card to replace the 32GB in my phone
A pair of nice looking pants from Kohl's that are going to go back because they're way too damn small...

A cooling gel memory foam pillow to go as a gift in our family Christmas gift auction
A queen sized reversible down alternative comforter to go as a gift in our family Christmas gift auction

I'll be going from a nondescript black monolith of a computer to an obnoxiously green beast
