you can always customize a family list. and then when you make posts exclude that list...

Tell the hubby to fuck off... you deserve some me time.

Sorry, that may not be an appropriate answer. I am so livid right now I can't even think straight.

Well that's why you're not on Facebook now. Gotcha.

I'm going to be playing with the servers again soon. All Dells...six R710s and five C6100s. Those C6100s are boss...2U with 4 nodes, with each node rocking a pair of Xeon X5650s and 96GB of RAM. That's a ton of power in 2U. I'm repurposing two R710s and moving their roles onto a pair of C6100 nodes... Which leaves me with 16 other nodes to play with :-) Hooray awesome stuff!

I'm looking at iSCSI NICs for some of those. Gotta connect them to the SAN.

damn evildre, that makes the 8 HP DL380s we just got in look like crap. Dual Xeon 5667s, 96GB RAM, 8 146GB 15k SAS Drives in RAID 10 on a HP P410i w/ a 256MB BBC (not my choice on the cache size), running ESXi 5. Wish we had gotten the 8 Citrix Netscaler MPX 5500 we though we would get.

You've got moar gigahurtz, but I've got moar cores The R710s have 8 146GB 15k SAS drives too, and they're RAID 10s as well, but I made sure to throw some hot spares in there. We're running all Microsoft stuff, so it's Hyper-V all around. I've gotten used to it, but I kind of wish we could do everything in SCVMM ... we still have to use the Hyper-V MMC for a few things. Just remember to disable Hyperthreading on those, as it can reduce VM performance

I've spun up a new pair of terminal servers on the C6100s and have just about finished updating them. There's a DFS that needs to replicate to them before I can put them in production and shut down the two R710s, though ... then I have to move them over to another rack before I can pop some HBAs into them, rebuild them with 2008 R2 Data Center Core, and make a nice and slim Hyper-V cluster out of them.
