I've seen those -- pretty cool stuff. You can probably power a Pi off the 5V rail, or just run a MicroUSB cable inside the case

First time I've sat down in front of my PC in what must be a month.

Yup, as evildre said my knee is all kinds of jacked up. Injured it the first time when I was carrying and pouring 100lb buckets of concrete and fell on my left side hard, my hip and knee landing on a concrete gutter splash. Went to the freestanding ER, got x-rays, nothing broken, went home with ace bandages and Tylenol 3.

A few days later I injured it again getting out of the shower - this time way way worse. Put my good leg out of the tub first, then as I was trying to gingerly get the injured left leg out I slipped on the tile floor and all 300lbs of me came down on the top two or three inches of that left knee, and I fell backwards into the tub. Crawled out of the tub to my bedroom and spent the next two hours trying to decide whether to call an ambulance or not. Worst pain I've ever experienced - and that includes almost having my appendix rupture back in 2009.

Went back to the freestanding ER, knee swollen so badly I thought the skin would split. Docs there became concerned about 'compartment syndrome' and I was rushed to the ER (first ever ambulance ride, yay?) in case drastic action was needed to save my leg. So so so much embarrassing stories from the two day hospital stay... but I'll save those for when I can sit at my desk longer. The only reason i'm here now is a web client was getting pissed off at me for delays in updates to their site. The angry knee does NOT like sitting / being bent.

Pretty sure something is trashed in the joint, and I'm devastated about what this is going to do for my exercise / weight loss. I've considered suicide several times over the last week. How the fuck am I supposed to go back to 10+ mile walks and 20+ mile bike rides when I can barely make it to the bathroom without using a walker?

It's probably just really angry at you, and needs a few days of rest along with some anti-inflammatories or something.

Huh. Upgraded Plex to the latest version yesterday, but a new version was released this morning. Had to do yesterday's with dpkg -i, but today's is working with apt. Weird.

Softbricked my S5, gonna take a nap instead of getting really frustrated at the lack of stock firmware downloads.

Honestly though with the S5 being a phone that's over four years old, you'd be better served with a custom ROM like LineageOS (formerly CyanogenMod)

I'm thinking of throwing Lineage on Julie's old LG G4 ... or maybe something else, I don't know.

Did the Color Run in Chicago today. I've gotten most of the color off my skin, but my palms are still a little blue. It was freaking 83 degrees outside at 7 in the morning. Run started at 8, and we got home about an hour ago. SUCKS OUTSIDE WHAT THE HELL give me some air conditioning this is bullshit.
